A Great way to meet lots of muslims and learn about Islam. One day Salman Al-Farsee -at the time he was the ruler of Al-Maddain of Persia- was walking in one of the streets. He was asked by a man, who didn’t know him, for help in carrying a huge load of firewood. Salman answered his request and the man thought Salman could be a wood carrier looking for work, so he told him that would get paid for this work. Later, some muslims in the street were saying to the man, “What are you doing? This is our Amir Salman.” So the man turned quickly to take the wood from Salman and apologize for having him carry the wood, “I did not know that you are the Amir,” the man said. Salman answered, “Do not worry about it. I made an intention to help you with this load and I am going to fulfill it. I will carry this wood for you all the way to your home, insha-Allah.” From IslamicAwakening.comAl-Jumuah Magazine |
