‘Al Indimaaj’ - Integration

الاندماج Al Indimaaj means melting two things together

KUFR INTEGRATION - Al Indimaaj al Kufri الكفري

Allah (swt) says,

﴿ وَدُّوا لَوْ تَكْفُرُونَ كَمَا كَفَرُوا فَتَكُونُونَ سَوَاءً ﴾

They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they) [Surah An Nisa 4:89]

﴿ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنْ تُطِيعُوا فَرِيقًا مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ يَرُدُّوكُمْ بَعْدَ إِيمَانِكُمْ كَافِرِينَ ﴾

O ye who believe! If ye listen to a faction among the People of the Book, they would (indeed) render you apostates after ye have believed! [Surah Al Imran 3:100]

Examples of the kufr type of integration include

Interfaith

§ To join kufr systems i.e. become MP, Lord, Judge, Ambassador

§ To join kufr groups i.e. Homosexuals (Gay Pride), Communists, Capitalists, Socialists

PROHIBITED INTEGRATION – Al Indimaaj al Muharram المحرم

The forbidden types of integration at different levels of daily life include:

Political Level - Al Indimaaj al Siyaasi سياسي

Voting & Election

All of these aid and abet the implementation of kufr laws vetoing ‘shariah laws’; which is obliged upon us to implement. Participating in these is totally prohibited.

Visa to Makkah

It is prohibited for the authorities to issue visas; as Muslims should be able to move freely withi in Muslim Land such as to travel to fulfill their obligation of hajj.

Social Level - Al Indimaaj al Ijtimaa’ie اِجتماعي

§ Civil Marriage

Allah requires Muslims to perform Nikah as the method of marriage.  The civil marriage prohibits any other forms of marriages including nikah in order to receive the marriage certificate.  It is not allowed to have the civil marriage unless as a permit for documents and this has to be done after the nikah.

§ Free Mixing

This is to be in closed confinements with non-mahram without a divine shariah permit.  This is also known by necessity in Islam.

§ Entertainment

e.g. going to cinema, swimming pool, fun fair, nightclubs etc.

§ Unisex Society

One of the signs of the hour is when men and women imitate each other.  This is now more becoming a custom in the west.

§ Demonstrations

(and likes of)

i.e. to march with CND, Stop the War Coalition, or to participate in events such as Live8.  This is prohibited because it is not allowed to ally with the kuffar calling for jahiliyah (non-Islam) such as: calling for UN laws/Human rights/equality.  These events also lead to a large amount of free mixing and haram entertainment.

Economic Level - Al Indimaaj al Iqtisaadie إقتصادي

§ Riba

(Usury)

It is known by necessity not to deal with usury.  It is one of the 7 major sins totally forbidden by Allah (swt).  It is very easy to fall

into this via employment such as – financial institutes – or via transaction whether buying or selling, shares and contracts.  However it is also one of the things muslims are made aware of to keep far away from. 

§ Credit Cards

All charge interest.  It is prohibited to apply for a credit card as the contract requires for interest to be paid.

§ Insurance

This is usually involving three parties (insurance broker, finance company and customer)which is prohibited in Islam as there can

only be two parties.  Also the type of transaction is not required in Islam hence it is disallowed.

§ PLCs

Public limited company means a floated company on stock market.  This contravenes Islam as there are more than 20 partners

(maximum allowed in Islam) and the partners are unknown to each other.  Shares are haram as they deal with the ghaib (unknown).

§ Mortgage

Charge interest whether rate or disguised as a fee.  All contracts require house insurance and your property is security against the

contract. 

Intellectual Level - Al Indimaaj al Fikrie فكري

§ Freedom

Muslims are not free but slave to Allah (swt).  The tenets of freedom in a western society open doors to kufur and shirk and also

to following our own desires instead of Allah (swt).

§ Free Market

No such thing as inflation and leaving the market to decide the rate of products.  In Islam we have fixed prices not allowing errors such as inflation in our economic system.

§ Individualism

The Muslim nation is like one body.  It is harmful when we leave it as shaytan (satan) picks the individual over the group. 

§ Globalisation

Not allowed to be dominated by systems governing the people other than the Shariah.

§ Debating about

Hukm Shari

Not allowed to argue and debate about divine laws nor to pick and chose which obligations to follow and which ones to leave and which ones to deny.

§ Cloning

It is the Handiwork of Shaytan (satan):

Verily, I will mislead them, and surely, I will arouse in them false desires; and certainly, I will order them to slit the ears of cattle, and indeed I will order them to change the nature created by Allah.” And whoever takes Shaytan (Satan) as a Wali (protector or helper) instead of Allah, has surely suffered a manifest loss. [4:119]

Its is obligatory to integrate with the following:

§ Obligations and responsibility

§ Your Blood Relationship

§ Ilm al Deen – Knowledge of the deen

§ Ulema - Scholars

PERMISSIBLE INTEGRATION – Al Indimaaj al Mubah المباح

It is permissible to integrate on the following issues:

§ Cars (how to make/drive)

§ Washing Machine

§ Computers/Internet

The Tools the Kuffar use to promote integration with them

7.  FEAR FROM ISOLATION

The Weapon against this form or kufr or haram integration is INTERACTION (al Tafa’ul التفعل)
