mashallah this is funny and soo true subhanallah Posted by on 07/06 at 08:13 AM
Is it a coincidence that when Napoleon was about to conquer Egypt, the khutbahs were about if a woman grows a beard, whether or not she should shave it? Or how during the Spanish Inquisition, the talks were all about ‘perfecting our character’ and such general talks? I think not. Posted by on 07/07 at 11:09 PM
best one so far Posted by on 07/08 at 04:59 AM
i’ve been wanting to say for some time now that mashallah, your comics are getting better and better - both graphics-wise (color, layout - i thought the ipod thing you did with the music one was very cool) and content-wise and i’m not just saying that as your “boss” mashallah, keep up the good work brother Posted by on 07/09 at 01:28 AM
i dont agree with this one, bcuz yes its mentioned in quraan so of course its important..
funny indeed! Posted by on 07/09 at 07:58 AM
i don’t think he’s saying it’s not important but at some point there is an ikhtilaaf on this as well as other issues and people get carried away sometimes and can’t leave it at that and i highly doubt he’s proposing talking about idle topics is more important but that there are some issues even more pressing than fiqhi disputes the truly funny thing is usually if someone doesn’t understand priorities already it’s hard to remind them - they usually can’t understand the reminder either (as obviously they see priorities differently) Posted by on 07/09 at 09:45 AM
Yeah, tons of years later and our sisters still don’t get it. : ) Posted by asmaa on 07/09 at 02:19 PM
--but at some point there is an ikhtilaaf on this as well as other issues and people get carried away sometimes and can’t leave it at that-- There is one truth and one baatil. And no scholar ever said a muslimah could expose her face and hands to a kaafir man. Alhamdulillaah for Islaam and its beauty and lack of contradictions : ) Posted by on 07/09 at 02:21 PM
no one ever said there wasn’t one truth and one baatil even a mujtahid who is sincere yet arrives at an incorrect opinion gets a reward AGAIN - the point is how long you spend on a fiqhi issue, that’s the point you either get the actual point or you don’t Posted by on 07/09 at 03:34 PM
and my point is that I am not willing myself to give up on my sisters because the majority don’t understand. Again, no scholar has said a muslimah can show her face to a kaafir man. So if this is happening, it is enough reason for me to continue my task :D Insha’Allaah Posted by on 07/09 at 03:53 PM

i ve alays wanted 2 ask u this qwestion. how come the heds r flooting? Posted by on 07/09 at 04:02 PM
sister asmaa, no one asked you to give up your task maybe you feel defensive about the cartoon and think that’s the message, but it clearly is not (i’ve also never heard the opinion that no scholar allowed a woman to uncover her face in front of a kaafir? isn’t it an issue of what constitutes the ‘awrah?) Posted by on 07/09 at 04:03 PM
that wus soo stopid Posted by on 07/09 at 04:06 PM
it was all these at the same time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Posted by on 07/09 at 04:10 PM
It is an issue of what constitutes the `awrah and fitnah (lack of lowering the gaze, etc). Yes the scholars don’t disagree that a kaafir man can not see a Muslimah’s face, whether they deem it to be `awrah or not. It would be nice to see where they allow it. Posted by on 07/09 at 04:18 PM
i don’t know if they allow it i hadn’t heard they unanimously disallow it, even if they don’t believe the face is ‘awrah Posted by on 07/09 at 05:30 PM
fariha and hafsa :p to you both - now go play! Posted by on 07/09 at 05:30 PM
